Most of my life has been committed to this moment.
I’m Jared Redick, and The Redick Group evolved from my long-standing practice, The Resume Studio.
Based in San Francisco, the new brand still reflects my core work with private clients, but also encompasses the corporate services I’ve provided those same clients’ companies for more than a decade, including training, brand storytelling, and strategic introductions.
My work slants heavily toward professionals who’ve taken predictable career paths, but want to pursue their next steps with purpose. Those include all but two of the business world’s known C-suite job titles, as well as all of their feeder roles up and down the org chart.
Notably, 20-30% of my clients represent a body of innovators and one-of-a-kind professionals who are—even as we work together—inventing, deciphering, and reimagining the wheels of commerce. From AI/ML, VR/augmented reality, and 5D—to the development of cultural changes, global privacy policies, new currencies, and beyond—those clients’ perspectives and outputs are so new that they don’t entirely know how to talk about their work. In some cases, their commercial work and global impact is so nuanced that they haven’t yet made their way into coherent law.
My 20+ year career working with companies and people spans 40,000+ hours, and includes:
2,400+ hours researching, creating, and presenting career development strategies to ~12,500 audience members, in person domestically and via global webinars.
27,200+ hours helping 2,300+ private clients (85% return) position themselves for career growth and change — going far beyond preferences and skills to identify and achieve realistic goals.
960+ hours creating corporate copy and market-facing strategies and content to help 80+ founders and inventors attract clients, investors, and strategic partners.
7,680 hours recruiting 120+ senior professionals in retained executive search.
I’ve also:
Prepared hundreds of candidates for interviews (as a recruiter)
Coached and trained 100+ career coaches, résumé writers, and university career counselors on philosophies, tools, and techniques I’ve developed
Been sought by career think tanks and career-related platforms to advise on the promise and pitfalls of their offerings.
Privately counseled people leaders in their own career maneuvers.
Collectively, that means I’ve spent more than 40,000 hours preparing for my work with you or your company today. If we work together, you can expect someone who transcends mere writing and coaching, and falls in step with you as a strategic partner in your growth and the growth of your company.
